Nobody ever can hurt the real you because your real self is not material. Your real self, your personality, is not the material self-called the ego. The ego is associated with the personality but is a false belief of what the self is when identified with the body, not the mind. The ego exists only as long as the body does. However, when the body is no longer useful or functional, your mind with your personality transition.
