Belief Self a Body is Belief Body Magical

In "A Course in Miracles", Jesus expounds, "The body is the symbol of the WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE. It is clearly a separation device, and therefore does not exist."

Here we learn that the body is not the source of our true power or understanding. Yet, many of us have fallen into the trap of believing that our bodies are the be-all and end-all of our existence.

Think about it.  Why do we rely so heavily on our physical senses, like sight, to navigate and understand the world around us? It's because we have been conditioned to believe that our bodies are the ultimate authority on what is real and what is not.

But what if I told you that this belief is nothing more than a magical illusion? What if I told you that true sight and knowledge come from a place beyond the limitations of the body?

The truth is that our perception of reality is not limited to just what our physical senses can detect. There is a deeper knowing, a higher consciousness that transcends the boundaries of the body. It is this higher consciousness that allows us to tap into our true power and understanding.

Imagine for a moment that you could see beyond what your physical eyes can perceive. Imagine having a deep intuition, a knowing that goes beyond what the brain can comprehend. This is the true nature of thought - a limitless, expansive force that is not confined to the confines of the body.

So why do we continue to hold on to the belief that our bodies are the sole source of our perception and understanding? Perhaps it is because we fear the unknown; the idea of letting go of what we have always believed to be true.

I invite you to consider a different perspective. Come to accept the idea that you are more than just a body. Contemplate on the idea that your true power lies in your connection to a higher consciousness, a universal intelligence that is far greater than anything the body can provide.

Let go of the magical belief that the body's eyes can see truly, and the brain can truly know. Open yourself up to the possibility that there is a deeper, more profound way of experiencing and understanding the world around you.

These teachings tell us we are not bodies, but mind having a body to be human.  That is what is truly magical.

Accept this truth and expect your perception of reality to expand, your understanding deepening, and your true power to be unleashed.

Magic is mindless.

And therefore, destructive or rather, the uncreative use of Mind.

It is a magic belief to engage in ANY form of body image activity at all.  You neither created yourselves, nor controlled your creation. By introducing levels into your own perception, you opened the way for body-image distortions.

All physical illness represents a belief in magic.

The whole distortion which created magic rested on the belief that there is a creative ability in matter, which can control the mind. This fallacy can work either way, i.e., it can be misbelieved either that the mind can miscreate IN the body, or that the body can miscreate in the mind.

If it can be made clear that the mind, which is the only level of creation, cannot create beyond itself, then neither confusion need occur.

All material means which man accepts as remedies for bodily ills are simply restatements of magic principles.

The tendency to invest the physical with non-physical properties is essentially magic and tends more toward anxiety-proneness.
