We Were Given A Gift We Have, Are, and For Each Other.

We are told that we are one kind of creation existing as one spirit body with the same mind, but individuated as personality complexes for experiencing.  We were also created and endowed with our creator's mind to create like our creator.  To do this as an evolutionary ascending spirit being, we were also endowed with a fragment of the spirit of the source of all creations, the father of our creator. This we are told is our gift and it is specific to our soul's creation.

According to and stated in "A Course in Miracles", "God HAS given you a gift, which you HAVE and ARE. When you do not USE it, you do not know you HAVE it. By not knowing this, you do NOT know what you ARE."

Celestials agree in "The Urantia Papers" stating, "Thought Adjuster or Spirit Monitor is the personal indwelling of the gift of the spirit of the Universal Father.”

"That fragment of the pure Deity of the Universal Father which indwells mortal man is a part of the infinity of the First Great Source and Center, the Father of Fathers. 2:1.11 (35.4)

The sending of Adjusters, their indwelling, is indeed one of the unfathomable mysteries of God the Father. These fragments of the divine nature of the Universal Father carry with them the potential of creature immortality. Adjusters are immortal spirits, and union with them confers eternal life upon the soul of the fused mortal. 40:7.1 (448.8)

Jesus tells us in the course that our souls have been perfected and are as such immortal, but are sleeping, unconscious to what we are and why.  He tells us that we are like him with the same mind and spirit father, which was why he came into this world to  demonstrate and teach.

Urantia Papers and other writings teach similarities about our gift from the universal father and our relationship to Jesus as the Christ.

Concerning the gift of Christmas, pertaining to the concept of of giving in the time for Christ in celebration, Jesus tells us in his course that,

"Only one equal gift that CAN be offered to the equal Sons of God, and that is FULL APPRECIATION. Nothing more and nothing less.

Your gratitude to each OTHER is the only gift I, Christ wants. I will bring it to God for you, knowing that to know your brother IS to know God.

My mind will always be like yours, because we were created as equals. It was only my DECISION that gave me all power in Heaven and earth.

My only gift to you is to help you make the same decision FOR YOURSELF. The will for this decision is the will to SHARE it, because the decision itself IS the decision to share. It is MADE BY GIVING, and is therefore the one act of mind that resembles true creation.

The mind WE share IS shared by all our brothers, and as we see them truly, they WILL be healed. Let YOUR minds shine with mine upon their minds, and by our gratitude to them make THEM aware of the light in them. This light will shine back upon YOU and on the whole Sonship because this IS your proper gift to God. He will accept it and give it to the Sonship, because it is acceptable to Him, and therefore to His Sons.

This is the true communion of the Spirit Who sees the altar of God in everyone, and by bringing it to YOUR appreciation calls upon you to love God and His Creation. You can appreciate the Sonship ONLY as one. This is part of the law of Creation, and therefore governs ALL thought.

The Oneness of the Creator and the Creation IS your wholeness, your sanity, and your limitless power. This limitless power is God’s gift to you, because it is WHAT YOU ARE.

If you dissociate your mind FROM it, you are perceiving the most powerful force in the universe of thought AS IF it were weak, because you do NOT believe YOU are part of it.   See God's Gift of Mystery Given Us Unlimited Power
