What archetype did you choose for this life's expression?
Do You Know What An Archetype Means? Do You Know You Were Born as An Archetype?
I can tell you that what I thought I understood about archetypes and astrology, amounted to gross misunderstanding of purpose.
Now I understand that "the archetype" is a spiritual tool used for training the mind for conscious awakening to self and purpose.
"Archetype" have different meanings, but for this discussion, archetypes relate to a type of creation, a spiritual path, not personality traits of spirit beings, nor the spirit self or soul. They are not astrological traits defined by the position of planets at birth, although the birth date is used in the calculation. There is a mathematical order in existence of time. Archetypes could be said to be the training arena for the mind, a life focus while being in time.
The term or concept "archetype" was mentioned in "A Course in Miracles" and elaborated on, in "the Ra Material-The Law of One".
Starting with "A Course in Miracles" quoting from the URtext original manuscript, the word "archetype" is only inferred to once relating that "the unconscious is the unwatched mind."
The teaching states, "The unwatched mind is responsible for the whole content of the unconscious.. Jung’s best contribution was an awareness of individual vs. collective unconscious levels. ... HIS "ARCHETYPES" WERE ALSO MEANINGFUL CONCEPTS. But his major error lay in regarding the deepest level of the unconscious as shared in terms of CONTENT. The deepest level of the unconscious is shared as an ABILITY (what mind can do) .... The content which an individual happens to PERFORM (as the archetype) does not matter at all."
Keep in mind, Jesus's teaching is "we are one mind". But understand that this is our collective mind, the archetypal mind of our creation and universe. Jesus says it is the Christ mind we all share and can use, which is intricate in understanding what we are.
However, we are the individuated complex of mind, with body and spirit, deemed a personality with freewill to choose the expression for spirit experiencing through the mind with the body in space and time.
The archetype is a choice of experiences, planned with modals for expression and lessons for conscious mind development set up as different channels within the archetypal or collective mind. These channels for expressions and experiences are the different archetypes defining a path that could lead to the discovery of self, the "God Person" you eternally are.
Jesus's teachings are for our mind to learn of its origin and what it is, its power and to be mindful of its purpose. He teaches we exist as one mind projecting a shared dream of physical experiences, the good and the bad. This is done by the shared ability of our spirit mind. However, the ability of our spirit mind, although the same for all, is individuated as personality with freewill, which recognizes spirit or not, or proceed on the spiritual planned path of the archetype to discover mind's abilities or not.
Understand that a personality may incorporate an expression of an archetype, but archetypes are not types of personalities, but a path and expression for the personality's lessons chosen for spiritual evolution. Because we are one creation, all archetypes are experienced by all of our brotherhood at some point in eternity.
The Law of One" elaborates stating:
Keep in mind at all times that the archetypal mind is a portion of the deep mind and informs thought processes. 89.44
The archetypal mind is that mind which is peculiar to the Logos under which influence you are at this space/time distorting your experiences. There is no other Logos the archetypal mind of which would be the same any more than the stars would appear the same from another planet in another galaxy. You may correctly infer that the closer Logoi are indeed closer in archetypes. 76.10
"The archetypal mind is a great and fundamental portion of the mind complex, one of its most basic elements and one of the richest sources of information for the seeker of the One Infinite Creator. Each archetype is significant and a thing in itself, with its own complex of concepts. ... Inquiry is secondary to the discovery of the purest gestalt or vision or melody which each archetype signifies to both the intellectual and intuitive mind."
The Significators (the personality and will-desire) of Mind, Body, Spirit complexes are complex in and of themselves, and the archetypes of Catalyst, Experience, Transformation, and the Great Way are most fruitfully viewed as independent complexes (archetypes) which have their own melodies (paths) with which they may inform the mind of its nature. The archetypal mind informs those thoughts which then may have bearing upon the mind, the body, or the spirit.
The archetypes do not have a direct linkage to body or spirit. All must be drawn up through the higher levels of the subconscious mind to the conscious mind and thence they may flee whither they have been bidden to go. When used in a controlled way they are most helpful. 87.17
Questioner: As the entity becomes consciously aware of this process [it] programs this activity itself before the incarnation. Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. Please keep in mind that we are discussing, not the archetypal mind, which is a resource available equally to each but unevenly used, but that to which it speaks: the incarnational experiential process of each mind/body/spirit complex. We wish to make this distinction clear for it is not the archetypes which live the incarnation but the conscious mind/body/spirit complex which may indeed live the incarnation without recourse to the quest for articulation of the processes of potentiation, experience, and transformation. 92.16
Again, in all the teachings, archetype is not mentioned as a type of soul, nor spirit as indicated above, but a focus of mind. Mind is creative and can plan and focus on any type or method so chosen for expression and experience.
An archetype could be incorporated into the personality of the mind, but it is also how mind is stimulated in learning to seek understandings yourself, collective and individuated. To put it succinctly, the path through which was chosen for your expression and experiencing is individuated with the same ability as all others and is only different as to personality of freewill choice from established paths or modals of expressions and experiencing.
So, for your dream of expressions and experiences, what path did you choose? What did you want to be in this life and how might you have planned for it. What did you want to learn? What did you plan to do with your ability?
If you want to consider some possible answers, there is an archetype report that I personally acquired for myself and was truly amazed how it brought to light the path I chosen but had been uncertain about. I can tell you truthfully that the report, even the free one was right on point. They revealed a lot about my shadow side, purpose and lessons I am to learn. The free report was very enlightening, but the extended paid version revealed so much more. It was like I told them all that stuff, when I couldn't have, I was not aware.
